Do you ever have a day where you wear 57367 outfits? Saturday morning I was up to wait for the groceries to be delivered (yes, I live within 4 miles from a grocery and get them delivered. Yes, this has changed my life. Peapod is amazing, and it saves me more money per week than I ever dreamt). Anyway...I got up to receive said groceries and threw on sweats and a t-shirt. Then, changed to jeans to paint. Then, we decided to go to the hardware store...and for some reason, I decided to wear a dress. It was semi-warm out...and getting warmer as the day went on, so I wanted to a) layer, and b) dress girly, but with a twist. I hate going to the hardware store/tool shop looking too-too girly. So, I threw on my new Forever21 dress, blue ballet flats (which I wore at my wedding) and to rough up the outfit a bit: my BB Dakota (faux) leather jacket which I bought last year at Milk&Honey. Also paired with big Forever21 earrings. (Excuse the not close up of my face...somehow I've developed the worst acne I've had like...ever. It's fun being an adult, no?) Anyway, I liked this outfit because it was Springy and girly, without being too silly or chilly (yes, that rhymes.) Also, excuse my hair. That particular style, as Eric calls it, is the "Pebbles" look. I swear to him someday I'll come home with a bone in my hair!

To get this look: Dress: Fit and Flare Dress, Forever 21, $14; Ballet Flats: Mine are last year's Brooks Brother's suede light blue, these are similar and also suede; Jacket: BB Dakota (mine was cheaper than this one...but this is similar!) Earrings: Forever21, similar; Nails: Essie's Wife Goes On
