Hey all, welcome to day 3 of no power. I've been staying at Olivia and Eric's- remember that scene in "Where the Heart Is" when Ashley Judd's kids are violated by her new boyfriend and then he beats her and she is all sad and messed up and she stays with Novalee (Natalie Portman) in her new "I was gifted money after the tornado which killed Stockard Channing" house? Yea, it's mostly like that, only with less kids and more Jenny, Andrey and Collin, and less mac and cheese. Only, now I'm the only one left, but my grandparents have come to hang. They too have zero power. Which reminds me, I need to talk to the management here about the lack of mac and cheese. I know I can get that Eric man on my side about it.
If no mac n cheese is available, might I suggest grilled cheese sandwiches stuffed with canadian bacon, american cheese, and.... CREAM CHEESE? Yes. Apocalyptic comfort food at its best. Paired, of course, with a delicious tomato soup and maybe a nice glass of wine. I don't know about you, but just reading about delicious food makes me happy. So.... I hope that improves your obviously desperate situation :)
