A few nights ago, Eric turned on Joan Baez: How Sweet the Sound, a PBS documentary. I was fixated. I couldn't stop watching! What a gorgeous piece about music, love, life, peace, and most importantly, sisters. Joan Baez and her younger sister, Mimi were musical partners, soul-mates, and as close as they come. Sadly, Mimi passed away a few years ago, but watching Joan talk about their relationship was so beautiful (and I totally cried). Another couple o' sisters that we're fans of is Lucy and Carly Simon. Carly's life was illustrated in one of my all time favorite books, Girls Like Us. I highly recommend watching the documentary and reading this book! Take some time for yourself this holiday, relax, and learn about some amazing women.
