Well, Lovelies, here we are again--weekend time! This weekend will be filled with homecomings, reunions, doggy birthdays and fantastic fall weather! While we're cavorting, you lovelies should enjoy some things ushering me smiling into the weekend.
- Terrible Yellow Eyes is an amazing site, which I cannot get enough of, devoted to reinterpretations of Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are.
- Bakerella's wonderfully creative, I-must-make-these pumpkin pie bites. I do love pumpkin season, pie crust and cream cheese.
- This fantastic Silkie Terrier Puzzle I am considering buying for my mother for the puppy's birthday, she's a Silkie.
- Currently reading, and loving, Nora Ephron's Crazy Salad, a brilliant collection of essays she wrote for Esquire in the 70s. (Though to be fair, I have a very, very old edition, an original and the reviews on Amazon mention a reworking done poorly on the new edition).
