G'day, Lovelies! Sometimes at school I need a mental break (remember, how I kick my boots off on my day off from lunch?) and with the impending holidays, I've been doing some holiday internet-window browser shopping during this little mid-day break. Often my mental break at school comes in the form of one of my favorite blogs, Glamour's Smitten; I love Smitten, it's a blog all about love, relationships, and the sweet stuff in life. The other day Joanna Goddard (hello, girl crush) posted about this beautiful British store called Emma Bridgewater. I finally had time to browse their items, and wow, what amazing gift ideas, not only for the upcoming holidays, but for birthdays, Mother's Day, graduations, and much more. Here's a roundup of some of my favorite items from the Lovely Emma Bridgewater:
- I love, love, love their line of half-pint pitchers (and I know someone else who would also...)! They would make a perfect little present for your favorite friend; I especially love the British Birds design, which features hand-drawn delicate images of birds; the Polka Dot design is so playful and lovely! What a great little pitcher to put on the shelf in the kitchen, or a perfect accessory for a guest bedroom.
- I've been on an endless quest for the perfect pasta bowl (no thanks to you, Ikea), and while these bowls are a little pricey, they are lovely and would make a gorgeous and unique statement in your kitchen. The White Toast Pasta Bowl is inscribed with the phrase "Linguine with Garlic and Oil" in white, to match the bowl. Simple, classy, but one-of-a-kind! And The Black Toast Pasta Bowl is inscribed in black with the phrase "Pomodoro & Basicilo." What great presents for new homeowners or college students setting up their dorm rooms.
- How lovely is this Pink Hearts Bowl? As the description says,"It may be pretty but it's very tough. Great for tea parties in the garden, birthday teas and picnics." How adorable would this be for a Sunday morning brunch with the girls?
- Remember to check out their Factory Shop where pieces of work with minor infractions or variations in the patterns make the prices of the item low, low, low! Go buy yourself a little "It's October" gift today!
thank you so much, what a sweet post! xo
