    I'd love #1 to fill my home with the smell of fall and have some new candle holders my wife can always find a use for. Plus, I know my mom would love one as a gift! The best part about fall is the many choices of winter squash that show up in stores. Yum!!

    My favorite part of autumn is the color it brings, seeing red - orange - yellow leaves around town and being blown away by the wind and when you step on a pile of leaves the sound of the leaves being crunch. :)

    Btw... I LOVE fall because I can wear my favorite clothes, feel the sweet fresh air and talk long walks without being hot or too cold... hear the crunches of the leaves... And, why not?, the deliciousness of eating pumpkin and maple hot chocolate everyday!

    My favorite part(s) of Autumn:

    1. October is the best month ever. If I could stretch it out to many many weeks, I would. I'm just trying to savor every beautiful day. Traditionally in the wiccan/pagan calendar, Halloween is New Year's and I've always really connected with that. October has it's own energy and feels like renewal for me.

    2. Fall is when my seasonal food instincts kick back in. Soup tastes better. Tea becomes a part of my routines, reading and writing and even watching tv. I want to bake and make more comfort food which is my favorite food to make.

    3. I love the blogosphere shift in fall -- maybe it's just the lovely lovelies that I associate with -- but the next three months with the decorations, the cozyness, the spirit of giving and gatherings and holidays and traditions. I am so excited it's all beginning again.
