Did you guys listen to Raffi when you were little? There was this song "Going to the Zoo" and the lyrics were "Yes, Mommy's takin' us to the zoo tomorrow/Zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow/Mommy's takin' us to the zoo tomorrow/We can stay all day!" Well, the other day my mother Facebook chatted me (seriously, what is this world coming to?) and asked if I wanted to go to the Makinajian Poultry Farm. Zoo, farm, same thing...? Not really, but for the purposes of this blog post: we went to the farm with mom (Step-dad Pat came along too)! Anyway, we ended up buying some cool veggies: purple peppers, baby heirloom tomatoes, and mom got some delicious looking cake. It was a quick trip, but it's a nice place to go, and it was fun to do something different!
