Lovelies, this weekend was gorgeous weather on Long Island...Saturday I spent all day outside painting our new coffee table, and Saturday night Eric and took a stroll through town and enjoyed the summer-ish weather. Sunday was of course Mother's Day, and it was so lovely to see both my grandmother's, mom, and all my relatives.

I finished these accent crates for the house this weekend. I bought the boxes at Michaels, unfinished, and then painted them to match our bedroom (Benjamin Moore's Mill Springs Blue and Annie Sloan's Old Ochre) and our living room (Benjamin Moore's Silver Spring and Cameo White). When they were all dry, I de-stressed them a bit to give them a beachy, worn-in, old cottage look--I love the way they came out! |

I bought these teas for my mother, but upon arriving at home I realized I wanted to try them, and if I didn't like them than I would give them to her...Oops, I sorta liked them! They are pretty good tasting. |

I made this pillow for my grandmother--the fabric is an old photo that my mother made into fabric on Spoonflower. Now my grandmother has a pillow with her parents on the beach on it! |

Friday afternoon was crazy busy in my "small town" of Huntington. |
|
New coffee table! We bought this at The Christmas Trees Shop and I painted it Benjamin Moore's Silver Spring and Cameo White. |
|
I cannot stop painting things Mill Springs Blue. It's a problem. |

Saturday night was gorgeous weather so I threw on a Forever21 dress and Old Navy jean jacket. I love summer dresses! |
|
A stack of Mother's Day cards! |

For my mother, I made a tea box. I bought the box at Michaels, as well as the tea pot and tea cup wooden pieces. I painted the whole box (Annie Sloan's Old Ochre), sanded it down, changed out the metal hardware, and filled it with tea for her! |
