So, I'm currently reading The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons from Extraordinary Lives by Katie Couric, and it truly is an inspiring book. I even printed out a bunch of quotes from the book to hang up in my classroom. There's two quotes I wanted to share with you all today, well, just because I happen to love them. And, there's nothing wrong with sharing an uplifting quote every now and then, is there? Are there any quotes you've come across lately which have moved you? I highly recommend the book, by the way!
“As you cook up your own life, never let anyone else’s recipe for success intimidate you or get in your way. Know your own truth, and live by it.”

“Acts of bravery don’t always take place on the battlefields. They can take place in your heart, when you have the courage to honor your character, your intellect, your inclinations, and yes, your soul by listening to its clean, clear voice of direction instead of following the muddied messages of a timid world.”
