Here at Lovely, we're a little bit in love with Ann-Margret's style. We've shown you how to achieve her "Bye Bye Birdie" yellow dress look, and the classic Kim MacAfee style (including the blue telephone from the number, "The Telephone Hour"). However, Ann-Margret didn't just have great style in the movies, she was also a style-inspiration herself. When I saw this adorable and summery photo of her, I knew I wanted to recreate the look for ourselves this summer (though when I showed my grandmother this photo she was astounded anyone would wear heels with shorts!). I love the clean lines of the white shorts, the classic striped shirt, and simple black heels (which are shockingly hard to find). Do you/would you wear heels with shorts? I love this look!
