So, it's no secret that Carly Simon is one of my idols; not only is she a musical siren who writes lyrics and music which can melt the soul, but she has style like no other. Back in college there was a music store in town which sold old vinyl records; I stumbled upon the No Secrets album by Carly, and I hung it on my wall for all of my freshman year. I love the outfit she is wearing in this photo shoot. It's so classic: brown jeans, blue t-shirt, big bag...anyone could pull this off and look ready to take the town! It's a little bit vintage, but modern enough to pull of any day of the week in 2011.
